What is the difference between VELCRO® Brand hook and loop?

The hook tape is the hard side of the material. It contains tiny hooks which grab and hold when attached to
the loop tape.

The loop tape is the soft or fuzzy side. Together, the hook and loop create an excellent closure for a multitude of purposes.

What sizes do the VELCRO® Brand products come in?

Textol Systems stocks the full range of VELCRO® Brand products. Widths on hook and loop tapes
range from 1/4”- 6”. These products are also available in round die cut circles called Velcoins®.
These products are available in diameters of 1/4” – 1-7/8”.

What are the size of the rolls or the “put ups” of these products?

| Answer: |
Most VELCRO® Brand products come on 25 yard rolls, although certain products come
on 50 yard rolls. Velcoin® Products come with a specific number of round coins per
roll depending on the diameter. Certain specialty products such as our Samplers® and
Veltex® Display Loop come on different put ups. Check our product sections to get the

any size you may need. We can also “Cut and Mate” these materials which simply means
that we put the hook and loop together before cutting and supply you with sets
rather than individual pieces. Die cutting, kiss cutting and other

Textol Systems carries a tremendous amount of inventory of VELCRO® Brand Products to insure
that most orders are shipped the day they are received. We will supply you with an accurate
lead time for all custom jobs, but keep in mind that most cutting jobs can also be shipped
the same day received.

How are shipping charges calculated?
|
| Answer: |
Shipping charges vary according to product weight. Most products are shipped via UPS
(because they offer package insurance and excellent tracking software). Larger items
and large volume orders are generally shipped via common carrier, and require higher
shipping rates. Select products offer an express shipping option. In most cases, this
rapid delivery requires an additional fee.
